Daniel Defense Mid-Length 7" Omega Rail is a tactical free float rail system. It has been specifically designed to suit the needs and requirements of current law enforcement officers, military personnel, and seasoned hunters. This rail system is manufactured with meticulous detail, using the highest quality in design and ease of use. It allows the user of the device quick installation with only an allen key, which is provided with it. One of the benefits of this free float system is that it does not require any kind of modifications to the weapon itself. You simply remove the factory hand guard and install the Omega Rail onto the unit. Due to its oval shape, you gain the experience of a tradition hand guard with the benefits of a sturdy rail mounting. This rail system is CNC machined and made up of aircraft grade aluminum, using a military spec type III anodized hard coat for increased durability. This tactical rail possesses an integral, QD sling swivel with limited rotation, along with an uninterrupted upper rail, and removable lower rail.
