This gel blaster rifle is a 1:1 scale replica. It is a very good replica of the original Mauser KAR98k Carbine. It operates very much like the real thing. It's a manual bolt action gel blaster rifle with an internal magazine. Traditionally, soldiers would use 5 x round 'speed loader' strips, which could be rapidly inserted into the magazine. With the bolt open & pulled fully to the rear, the user can place a 'Speed Loader Strip', each strip comes with 5 x shells each. 

The Hanke version of the Mauser KAR98k is a faithful representation of the real Mauser KAR98k in aesthetics & function. It's not as powerful as a lot of other bolt actions are, however, this is a really well made, affordable replica of a WWII weapon. This KAR98k is extremely popular with WWII collectors & players alike. This gel blaster won't break any muzzle velocity records or leave a stinging bruise on you, but it is fun in its own right! It's also a great teaching aid to learn about weapons safety before handling a real rifle.
