The Desert Eagle is a model which has not had much attention over the years; probably due to Tokyo Marui making such an outstanding replica of it already that no one had needed bother… until now. The Double Bell Desert Eagle is built to TM Specification & this replica offers exactly the same experience as the TM Desert Eagle at a fraction of the price. Parts are also interchangeable as are the magazines. The gelsoft community refer to the Desert Eagle as the 'DEagle'.

The exterior of this pistol is constructed from a Polymer coated aluminium to an almost identical standard as the Tokyo Marui version, albeit with slightly different finishes to the plastics. The Polymer exterior is constructed around an aluminium frame to provide a stable platform which not only makes it very robust, it also provides added weight which makes this replica feel like a true beast in the hand.

The magazine is much larger than standard pistol magazines & are a direct clone of the TM ones, which means the magazines are interchangeable.

This is one big blaster! The Desert Eagle It is actually the largest semi-automatic pistol commercially made in the world. There are numerous revolvers but only the Desert Eagle hits the mark.

As the Desert Eagle has such a big slide, it requires gas assistance to generate enough power to cycle the slide to reload ready for the next round. We recommend 14kg gas. This is the very first GBB Pistol we've ever recommended 14kg Green Gas for!

Being a (let's face it, ridiculously huge) pistol which has been advertised overseas as for 'Bear Protection', It is very bulky & has a long slide travel distance due to the size of the ammunition used. As a result, the Desert Eagle is also very heavy, the barrel is fixed in place, with a gas assisted slide housing the Bolt Carrier.

With a functional gas system the GBB Desert Eagle gel blaster pistol replica basically functions like a gas blowback rifle more than a gas blowback pistol, by having a 2-stage gas system, which means when you squeeze the trigger, the gas is directed to both the gel chamber & to the bolt carrier assembly at the rear of the slide, to provide additional power to the nozzle assembly via the rear of the blowback housing unit (BBHU), to reload the next round into the chamber. It's for this reason this pistol is recommended to be used with 14kg Green Gas.
