The Hanke Kar98k features a manual bolt-action system with an internal magazine, operating in the same manner as the real rifle. Traditionally, soldiers used 5-round speed loading strips, which could be rapidly inserted with the bolt fully open. Each strip holds 5 metal shell cartridges, with one gel ball loaded into the front of each shell, delivering an immersive and authentic loading experience.

While it won’t break muzzle velocity records, the HANKE Mauser Kar98k excels in realism, build quality, and historical accuracy. Constructed primarily from durable nylon with key reinforced components, it is an affordable yet well-made replica of a classic WWII service rifle.
