This is the next evolution of APS Conceptions Gearbox Technology.

The APS Edge II Gearbox with Mosfet is designed for APS Gel Blasters with a V2 Gearbox Design. It offers a steel gear ratio of 18:1, A micro mosfet (similar to an easyfet), however with smoother & more reliable operation and improved performance compared to its predecessor, the APS SilverEdge SDU 2.0 Gearbox. these V2 gearboxes are not compatible with APS AK Series which use a V3 gearbox.  

This is literally 'plug & play' in APS V2 Gel Blasters. 

The APS Edge II Gearbox shell is cast alloy, finished in a CNC Machine and APS have learned from past experience with Gelsoft, which is much more punishing & brutal than any airsoft games, that extra reinforcement was needed at the front of the gearbox where the nozzle & cylinder are. In the space where the inner cylinder is located is radiused at the front end of the gearbox which ensures long-term durability and consistent performance.

• Built in Micro FET ~ APS new Edge II Gear box now comes standard with Micro FET, the IC chipset passed rigorous and continuing test using 11.1v (45c Li Po Battery, an M140 Spring & a High Torque Motor). The MOSFET improves overall performance of your AEG 
• Fine tune switch ~ Customise your trigger sensitivity - Increased sensitivity of the switch results in a very high response rate of fire
• Inline 20-amp fuse built into silver wiring harness - to protect your gearbox.
• Full Steel Teeth Piston ~ Edge II Gear Box comes standard with a Full Steel 14 Tooth Piston rack ~ Not to mention, Increased durability of the gear box.
• Stainless Steel Ported Cylinder ~ The interior of the cylinder is smooth bore. The 50% port is optimized for both bore up / non-bore setup of your gear box.
• Aluminium Cylinder Head with Double O-Rings ~ APS uses aluminium to make the cylinder head and nozzle, which stabilises the velocity & the double O-ring setup improves the air seal & as a result, adds to the overall performance of your AEG gel blaster.
• Metal 18:1 Ratio Gearset - The EDGE II has factory fitted APS Cast 18:1 Ratio Gearset factory installed
• Aftermarket Gears compatible ~ different brand & ratio gears can be installed in the new Edge II gear box (i.e 18:1 / 16:1 / 13:1) from SHS or any TM Spec AEG Gearsets for your customization needs. 
• Quick change spring ~ Easy fps gains. Easy access spring to heighten or reduce the rate of fire & muzzle velocity of your blaster depending on your style of gameplay.
