The JG Works Steyr Aug A3 AEG Bullpup Gel Blaster Rifle Replica accurately mimics the Austrian Steyr AUG. The entire AUG series utilizes the 'Bullpup' design, where the magazine is positioned behind the pistol grip.

This Bullpup configuration is ideal for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) because the blaster's internal barrel is actually longer than it appears. Additionally, it offers better control during automatic fire as the recoil originates from the back, unlike an M4, where the chamber and barrel are in front of the handguard, causing the barrel to rise.

Personal Note from Viper: Having used the real F88 Steyr Aug in the Military, I am astonished at the accuracy in both build quality & finish. The texture of the nylon is just like the finish of the real Aug. The barrel, & nozzle assembly are able to be removed from the body with the exact take down pin mechanism. The Receiver housing has an alloy frame in which sits the entire receiver group, and it faithfully imitates field stripping in the same way as the real rifle. The 2-stage trigger is also just like the real thing, except the 'semi-auto' block in the trigger which is not present in this reproduction.

The 2-stage trigger is excellent, when pressing the trigger to the 'first stage' it fires in Semi-auto, and pulling the trigger fully back provides full-auto mode, meaning you don't need to fumble with a fire selector switch when in the midst of games.
