Operating Instructions

The WADSN MAWL C1+ is designed for intuitive operation, ensuring effortless use in tactical situations.

Status Indicator Light:

  • An orange light signals whether the device is powered on or off, especially critical when toggling to IR mode.

Fire Button Functions:

  • Fire Button A:
    • Single Press: Activates momentary flashlight beam mode.
    • Double Press: Switches to constant flashlight beam mode.
    • Long Hold: Toggles the laser on or off.
  • Fire Button A + B (Simultaneous Single Press): Instantly overrides the current mode and shuts off all illumination.

Mode Selection:

Switching between modes is seamless with the propellor selector cap:

  • OFF: All emitters are covered.
  • VIS: Exposes the visible green emitter only.
  • IR: Activates the IR laser pointer and IR laser illuminator.

Onboard Controls:

The device features dual "fire" buttons ("A" and "B") to manage the illuminator’s beam divergence and pattern. These beams are pre-focused for optimal field of view (FOV) and power, providing reliable performance across various outputs.

Output Power Control:

A top-mounted tactile sliding switch simplifies range adjustments, allowing users to select from three distinct modes:

  • SHORT: Close-range focus.
  • MID: Medium-range precision.
  • LONG: Maximum-range illumination.

This design eliminates the need for complex dial adjustments, ensuring rapid and effortless operation, even in low-light conditions.
