Senior Retail Sales Assistant / Shift Supervisor

ViperTac is looking for a new staff member to join the team.

We are seeking casual retail sales assistant with a passion for gel blasters to deliver exceptional sales, customer service & product knowledge to customers in our North Lakes store.

Weekday shifts Mon - Fri between 9.45 am – 5.15 pm
Weekend shifts (Sat 9.45 am – 4.15 pm and Sun 9.45 am – 2.15 pm) required on a rotating roster.

Key Duties:

• Customer service - provide in-depth product and service advice in a retail environment.
• Use of electronic POS equipment
• Undertake store opening and closing procedures.
• Receive and unload new stock shipments.
• Maintain stock inventory and keep shelves fully stocked with merchandise.
• Maintain up to date product knowledge.
• Fulfill online orders.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Manage customer enquiries.
• Supervise junior staff on shift.

Required Experience and Personal Qualities:

• Previous experience in sales preferred.
• Friendly disposition and ability to drive sales.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritise, multi-task, be flexible and meet deadlines.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Must have proficient math skills to manage cash and credit card payments and reconciliation of registers.
• Computer skills including spreadsheets and data programs.
• Ability to manage schedules and inventory.
• Attention to detail.
• Work well with others and a good team player
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service
• Good listener, ability to take instruction and willingness to develop new skills.
• A passion for gel blasters and good product knowledge
• Gel blaster technical skills considered an advantage although not essential.

Additional Requirements

• Age: 25+ preferred
• Current driver’s license and own transport
• Willingness to undergo a police record check.
